Job Description

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for powder coating system troubleshooting and quality checks.

 Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain pre-treatment equipment, spray booths (manual and automatic), ovens, and manual powder gun applicators.
  2. Prepares work to be accomplished by studying work instructions, paint specifications, and parts lists.
  3. Monitors machine gauges and equipment to detect defects or deviations from standards, and make adjustments as necessary.
  4. Inspects parts for quality.
  5. Assist when problems occur with fixed equipment and automatic gun adjustments for the various hanging arrangements.
  6. Works with 5s & visual controls.

Non-Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Performing other duties as assigned.
  2. Operates hand and power tools to complete assemblies.

Education & Experience:

  1. High School diploma or GED
  2. two+ years previous powder coating experience
