Job Description

Position Summary:

To accomplish their primary goal of creating and welding metal parts and assemblies, must read and understand engineering blueprints and plans to know exactly what is required of any project. They must follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures in all the work they do.

 Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Produce quality parts to meet customer deadlines and requirements
  2. Be productive in a team setting
  3. Conduct quality checks on fabricated parts
  4. Ability to operate different tools such as height gauge, mics & caliper
  5. Become familiar with all facets of the metal fabrication department which includes, but is not limited to, robotic welders, break presses, lasers and manual welding

 Education & Experience:

  1. High School diploma or GED
  2. Ability to read and understand blue prints
  3. Plus: experience setting up and operating flat/tube laser
  4. Plus: metal grinding and finishing
  5. Plus: material handling
  6. Previous CNC experience
  7. Ability to convert standard measurements to metric measurements
